Shelby County Schools has named Michael Stallings as its new District Supervisor of Athletics. Stallings brings 24 years of experience in education, leadership, and athletic administration, including 17 seasons as head baseball coach at Chelsea High School and 13 years as the school’s athletic director.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his commitment to student development, athletic excellence, and community engagement.
Stallings earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and will now help oversee and support athletic programs across the district.
