Shannon Marks was recently named an Assistant Principal at Mountain Brook High School. “I am so excited to step into this role,” says Marks. “I love this school community, our students, and my colleagues, and I couldn’t think of a better way to serve and support relationships in those three areas than to be an Assistant Principal here. I am eager to get started.” Marks has worked as an English teacher at Mountain Brook High School since 2014 and has a total of 22 years in education. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and holds her Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Masters in Secondary Education from UAB. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in English from Birmingham-Southern.
