Mountain Brook Schools Athletics
The 2026 Mountain Brook boys golf team earned national recognition from the PGA’s National High School Golf Association, which recently ranked the Spartans No. 2 in the country.
The team captured the 2026 Alabama 6A state championship with a score of -32, highlighted by an opening-round performance of -25. Throughout the season, the Spartans posted an average team score of 272, with a -14.61 average differential.
The championship team included SJ Thomas, Denton Brooks, Fletcher Finch, Ryan Pugh, Ford Birchall, and Head Coach Jack Letson.
