Alabaster City Schools shared its commitment to evidence-based instruction at the 2026 Visible Learning Conference in Nashville.
The ACS Curriculum and Instruction team presented “Leadership in Sync: Using Evidence to Guide Instructional Improvement,” highlighting how collaboration, data, and research-based practices are helping improve student outcomes across the district.
The presentation followed a week of national recognition for Thompson Middle School and Thompson High School, which were named Corwin Visible Learning Associate Schools for their successful implementation of the School Impact
Process and dedication to research-based teaching and learning. ACS celebrates Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Amanda Wilbanks and her team for representing the district and sharing their work on a national stage.
